Probha Aurora is proud to implement this initiative, creating hands-on opportunities for young people to connect with nature, explore biodiversity, and deepen their understanding of conservation. Through field exploration, mentorship, and collaborative learning, students are building the knowledge, curiosity, and responsibility needed to become future stewards of our natural environment.

Recently, a special delegation from Probha Aurora had a meaningful and productive meeting with the EU team to exchange perspectives on environmental protection, climate action, resilient livelihoods, smart agriculture and opportunities for collaboration. The discussion highlighted the importance of partnership, innovation, knowledge-sharing, and collective action in advancing sustainable solutions that are responsive to the realities of communities facing climate and environmental challenges. We are deeply grateful to Mr. Edwin Koekkoek, First Counsellor and Team Leader for Green Inclusive Development at the Delegation of the European Union to Bangladesh, and his team for their valuable time, thoughtful insights, and encouragement. We look forward to building on this dialogue and working together to turn shared ideas into meaningful action for people, communities, and our planet.

Proud to support safer drinking water, greener schools, and stronger environmental leadership for the next generation in Bangladesh.
#probhaaurora #ecoschools #SafeWater #cleanwater #EducationforSustainableDevelopment #ESD #sustainabledevelopmentgoals #SDGs #Bangladesh #EnvironmentalEducation #sustainability #ecoschoolsbangladesh #feebangladeshπ§ Safe drinking water is something every child should be able to count on.
In Bangladesh, the Eco-Schools programme has helped transform three schools in Dhaka through the Safe Water for Greener Schools Initiative, bringing reliable access to safe drinking water to more than 1,000 students.
This initiative goes beyond installing water filtration systems. Through the Eco-Schools Seven Steps, students, teachers and local communities worked together to investigate the challenge, make evidence-based decisions, promote responsible water use, and reduce plastic pollution by introducing reusable water bottles.
The result is healthier learning environments, stronger environmental leadership, and a practical example of how Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) can address local challenges while contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals.
Congratulations to Probha Aurora, FEE Member organisation and National Operator of the Eco-Schools programme in Bangladesh, and to everyone whose dedication helped bring this inspiring initiative to life. π
